Foyer
Our foyer is particularly suited to staging smaller events which do not require the scale of the main auditorium, such as exhibition, gigs and receptions. It is also ideal as a refreshment of registration area for large conferences, being adjacent to the Auditorium.
The foyer has a maximum capacity of 360 persons.
Auditorium
As the centre piece of City Hall, the Auditorium is one of the largest and most adaptable indoor event space in the south of England. A fully retractable, rectanglular tiered seating system forms the basis for a range of standard configurations in the Auditorium which can be adapted to suit your needs, such as a concerts, dinner/dances, conferences and exhibitions.
The Auditorium has a maximum capacity of 1250 persons
Meeting Room
This room is perfect for smaller seminars, workshops and meetings. It is fully air - conditioned and has plenty of natural light as well as an adjoining coffee area.
The Meeting Room has a maximum capacity of 60 persons
Alamein Suite
This suite holds 120 people comfortably (theatre style) and has a reception area with its own separate entrance as well as a kitchen adjacent. With fully intergrated data projectors, screens and PA system, it is suitable for lectures, seminars, training sessions and workshops.
The Alamein Suite has a maximum capacity of 200 persons
Kitchen and Licensed Bar
The catering facilities available can provide a good range of refreshments, by arrangement, as the kitchen is fitted with four gas cookers and a large hot cabinet. A large service hatch/counter opens from the kitchen into the foyer. The licensed bar which is open in conjunction with shows and events, provides a comprehensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
