Access and Mobility

Any accessibility requirements need to be agreed in advance at the time of booking, admission may be refused should we not be notified in advance and if there is a Health and Safety implication

Level access
City Hall has no steps or ramps to navigate, having access from street level.

Infrared hearing system
City Hall has headsets available at request from the box office.

Dedicated row for wheelchair users
A dedicated row of seats able to accomodate both wheelchair users and a companion, if required, is available. Please inform the box office at the time of booking. Powered wheelchairs can be hired from Salisbury Shopmobility on 01722 328068

Tiered Seating

City Hall is fitted with a tiered seating system. There are also seats available on the flat floor. The tiered seating has two main aisles that are gradual, wide and well lit. There are no handrails available to support those who may have mobility issues in ascending or descending the seating. Customers are advised to choose seating at the bottom half of the tier or on the flat floor if this is the case. Please speak to the Box Office for further information.

Assistance dogs
We welcome dogs for the disabled, guide dogs and hearing dogs. Please inform us at the time of booking if your dog will be accompanying you, so that we ensure adequate space is made available during seated events. Water for dogs is available on request.

There are also specially adapted toilets with radar locks situated on both the ground and first floor for customers with mobility problems.

There is lift access to first floor (Alamein Conference Suite and Meeting Room).
